Greetings! I had a question for those of you in the D/FW area with tint that is less than 25%. Do you have a guy that is willing to "overlook" or "forget" to check out your tint. I'm in the Lewisville area and just got pwned with a reading of 18%. Anyone in North Dallas would be preferable, but open to anywhere in the D/FW area. Obviously there is the option of rolling down windows and/or pulling the fuse, but I would only consider doing this as a last resort. Thanks in advance =)

As an aside, what a ridiculous law.

I have never had anyone inspect tint before. Frankly, I think it's odd that your inspection place checked it. Most inspections around here do a emissions test, check the lights, CEL and maybe a drive around the block. Last time I went to one, he didn't even drive it. Just try a different place. I bet it'll go through.

If you live in a nice area like Park Cities or something, try running over to Richardson or Oak Cliff. Someplace with more garages and less soccer moms.

I fully plan on running 15% once it cools down a bit. I had 25% on my last Mustang and it breezed through inspection at a Quicklube.
