Sweet mod!

Going to try it this weekend with my spare emblem.

Also looking on the back the "Emblem only" part #is 4R33-8A224-A

It only glows when the car is in Park. At least on the US version.

Wow, nice job! Did you use a laser to get the cut so smooth?

That's a pretty unique and cool mod. Great job. I'd try it myself if I wasn't lazy.

Looks awesome! Guy on instagram did one. Need to do a write up about the wiring diagram. Think it would look good with it glowing behind my billet grill cover

In it they show a quick shot of the Mercedes star lighting up. I was like, “I gotta have that!” Turns out it's an actual option you can have installed on certain Benz models. Mine cost far less than what they charge!

I purchased a couple of illuminated ponys back in the 1999 - 2000 time frame. One glowed a neon blue and was a favorite but had a high failure rate due to the power inverter and delamination - thinking I bought it from Summit? Very pleasing to look at when it worked.

J.C. Whitney had a white acrylic pony loaded with LEDs that was trouble free - both units wired into the parking light circuit on the driver's side. Both units were major attention getters - wishing something similar was still available.
