would lowering my car look better?

edit: basically what the AM said, I need camber bolts and a "panhard bar" along with the springs to get a proper alignment.

also will you guys be able to tell when the car is lowered, cuz with my 17" rims and a 1.5" drop, there will still be some gap, I'd hate to post a pic later down the road and have someone say "dude, you should get some lowering springs!" lol.

IMO, you don't NEED camber bolts, but technically you DO need camber bolts in order to get your alignment back to factory specs. However, I like a little bit of negative camber. It adds front grip in the corners.
An adjustable panhard bar DOES center the rear end for you, but again, that's strongly recommended, not absolutely necessary. I'm also running a UPR panhard bar. Our parts work very well.
