How about a change of pace?

This is a S197 (2013) modded to look like a '69 Boss 302.

I actually like it very very much.

I have been looking at these kits I would kill to be able to do something similar to my car.
There is a fastback Eleanor type as well.

Hey Now...

This actually looks pretty neat. And sometimes if you want to make a statement you work with what you have. And in this case nicely done.

Whomever did this... it now has a very European look to it. And it does not look like any other Mustang of this era. It clearly stands out and is not an eyesore. The popped out Headlights look retro Euro. Classy.

How can you slam him for self expression???? If its not your cup of tea... then you have your later Model ride to work with.

Think of it this way... when the S550 finally hits the sales floor there's gonna be a lot of S197's popping up with copycat body, front fascia and rear fascia visual mods that will attempt to copy some of what the newest Mustang has in the looks department.

I wouldn't fault them for it. I might chuckle at how neat it came out and it will definitely make anyone do a double take to get a handle on what they're seeing.

Kudos to them in advance.

The kit is called the SN95 to S197 conversion kit. Last I looked it's pretty expensive and the look doesn't flow. The S197 simply does not match the edgy design of the Sn95 edge rear. It had potential, but the end result was not so great.

I found a real gem here:

Yes, I believe that was/is a S197.
