I finally bought a GT500 steering wheel, I installed it and it feels awesome I have always wanted one so I bought one from my buddy Joe. I love the feel and it looks much better then the stock steering wheel. I'm very happy with this purchase. I would highly recommend this over the stock one.

Very simple to replace. just make sure you have a 24mm socket. I followed the directions on American Muscle website

That looks really nice. I love that year, but damn it's hard to find them cheap.

If anyone is looking to do the GT500 wheel from the new body style (it fits 05-09s too) I think you can still pick those up for $150ish.
