One thing I do recommend since it sounds like your pretty eager to just get some extra power down, avoid throttle bodies. Unless your adding a blower or maybe high performance intake manifold, the stock one will do just fine.

Aftermarket TB's seem to cause issues no one wants to deal with.

The main thing is I want to get the most for my money initially. If a CAI/tuner isn't the most practical thing to do first and I would be better advised doing something else first, please feel free to leg me know. I plan on doing a multitude of things over time, but will be doing it in stages and want to make it worth it each step.

Yes I already noticed you were looking for buck banging results first lol. CAI and tune would be first mod. Americanmuscle.com has a good one on sale right now.

Keep in mind that by the time you buy a CAI, throttle body, intake manifold, and full exhaust, you're rapidly approaching the cost of a supercharger which would make much more power.

I'm really liking the Airaid Race CAI with Livewire TS tuner. The tuner offers more features than just the normal plug and play models. I just installed my Steeda brace too, so extra power will be easier to handle.

Good point, but on a high mileage engine, is an SC practical? Really looking to eventually swap to the 5.0 coyote motor offered by AM. I know most of the parts like TB, manifold, and probably the CAI won't be interchangeable, but they are fun to play with without breaking the bank until it's tine to upgrade. Up in the air about the swap or just a complete rebuild from ground up when it comes time. Just gotta compare prices and time.
