Default Hood Scoop

Has anyone put a 2013 Roush hood scoop on a 2005-2009 gt mustang and if so did it work and how did it look.

It would probably look better than the 05-09 scoops because its a lot wider

Snap a pic of it just set in place to see how it would look

The trick is will it match the curvature?

It would probably look better than the 05-09 scoops because its a lot wider
It would if the viewer beholding it likes wider scoops.

I loved the scoop on my '65 GTO and it was small (shorter, narrower both) compared to a '05-09 GT scoop, I then had the forward bezel chromed (it was metal) .... perfect then.

These scoops are almost always just "accents", if I was gonna put more $$$ in a functional scoop, I'ld go with a shaker.

The shaker really I don`t think so. I like accents.
I put my car in a lot of car shows so yes accents they work for me. The shaker scoop may be ok for those who race there car or just like the added horse power it gives but that's not what I want out of this car and I like the wide look of the Roush hood scoop. I own 2 other mustangs than my 2009 GT a 2014 GT 500 Shelby and a 93LX that I race so I know a little about performance stuff and the shaker hood scoop its ok but you could better spend your money.

Well I put a 2013 Roush hood scoop on my 2009 GT and it looks great I m going to post the pictures after I get it painted. And if you ask the question why didn`t I get it painted first well my painter said to put it on the hood first and than he will paint them both. Really it looks great and it fits perfect.

I have an 06 coupe that i'd like to put a scoop on. I'm not sure cutting a hole in the hood is for me, so a shaker might be too much. I'm ok with it being just for looks, I'll look at the Roush scoop.
