Default torq-thrust IIs

went from 17 to 18, back to 17...missed the softer ride. only deepdished 17s in torq-thrust style were the II's (besides the AM ones-they looked a bit thin to me, saw a pic of one busted to bits...)

American Racings site sucks anymore- no pics of the 17" tt-Ms (they now all look 'flat'), and on the II's the 5.5 backspace +25 offset dont jive with the torq-thrust M 5.94, +24... think the BS was right, offset was wrong- rather than .040 difference, its .440, gonna make a shim for the snubber as if bottomed out the drivers side just barely scuffs... funny, measuring, the travel is 3.25, but the bumpstop first contacts at 1.25... they must really crush. figure 1/2" shim should prevent scuffing as it was only barely a rub 3/8 down the corner of the tread... we'll see.

tires are Nitto450, 275 and 255 50-17

I love old school look you have going with those rims, I was always a fan of torq-thrust style but I went with the AM ones, because at the time they didn't make torq rims in 20's.
