Eagle Eye Halo LED Fogs

Good evening all,

Recently bought an 08 GT that already had some stuff done to it (id' rather do it myself...but, it was a good deal) and one of the upgrades was an HID conversion kit on the 2 headlights, and replacement halo fogs.

For the last month or so, they have all be doing great, but since 1-2 days ago, the drivers side halo on the fog light isn't as bright as the passenger side, and once I start driving, after about 10 seconds, it shuts off. The fog light itself still works, but the halo isn't responsive.

If I turn off my headlights and turn them back on, it does the same thing. Turns on for about 10 seconds, then shuts off.

Sitting in my driveway if I turn them on, they stay lit.

I have no idea how to figure out what's happening, as I've taken the grille off and the cabling is all snug, wrapped, no kinks, everything this tightly plugged in. I don't know where to go from there.

Any ideas or tips/pointers would be super duper appreciated.

Thanks everyone!!!

AM sells those halo fogs. Maybe look there and see if you can find any info.

The halos have ballasts that all eventually go bad. They do not like moisture at all. I even tried using rtv to seal everything up on some new ones once but they still didn't last. Too bad because I liked the look with center fog grille I was running at the time.

I'm stuck on the part where they stay on in your driveway. That's the sort of thing that'll drive you nutz.
