Below are what my wheels look like and another pic of the same wheels with pony center caps. I'm wondering about when the pony caps were used and where I'd be able to get them.

You may be able to find some in a junk yard, craigslist or your local Ford Dealer. Of course Ford will want an arm and a leg for them.

Thanks for the response. I also wonder just when Ford used the pony logo center versus using the Ford logo center. I'd have thought that my 2005 GTI would have come with the Mustang-specific pony logo instead of the Ford logo.

I think the Pony logo was used on premium options for the V6. My Mustang is the V6 Pony Package that came with those logos.
