Talking Best $19 mod I've done in a while

I just got my Hurst "T" handle shifter ****. I had the white ball that came with the Hurst Short Throw and didn't really like it. So decided to try this puppy out.

Very happy. The extra mass of the "T" handle makes the shifting a little easier, and the grip is awesome. It felt a little strange at first, but now my hand feels natural on the "T" and I can row through the gears much eaiser IMO.

As a bonus, the brushed metal (aluminum?) matches the brushed metal of my interior...all ties in with each other. Cause that stuff is important you know

Got it from a seller on eBay. Chopper Speed Shop eBay Store
one quick note. if you have a Hurst short throw, your threads are a 3/8-16 thread.

other brands and the OEM shifter are a different thread pitch. so make sure to be careful what you order.

Sweet! I want to get the pistol grip one for mine, getting tired of the white ball. Anyone know where to get one?

I'd just love somebody to mistake this puppy for a Auto.

my 2nd gear scratch is even better than normal now

here is one for $40. I've seen them for cheaper...but it is kinda tedious to dig through all the Mustang shifter results on eBay...page by page. you can find some great deals that way though

looks pretty good. I like the feel of those. I had one in my 70 boss.

I've got one too... it looks a little goofy in my opinion... but it feels simply freaking awesome... It really helps me on 2-3 shift...

Sucks a little bit when it's zero degrees outside, as that puppy take a long time for your hand to warm up!

This handle will work perfectly with a TCI ratchet shifter since it uses the Hurst thread size.
