2005 Mustang GT Emblems
I just purchased some rear molded mud flaps/splash guards for the stang. They are plain and came in one color.....black. I am having them painted the same color as the car......sream'in yellow.
What I'm looking for is a very small "GT" emblems.... mearsuring about 1-1/2" x 1-1/2" to be installed on the outer most corner of the guard. (crome or yellow)
Or
A "Mustang" emblem measuring to taller than 1/2" x no more than 6" long to be installed along the very bottom of the guard. (chrome or yellow)
Any help in locating the above would be appreciated.
Thank You
John / Fenton, MO.

You'll probably have better luck just going to a local vinyl sign shop and having them make you ones out of vinyl to the exact size you want... They can do them in a variety of colors (black, chrome , yellow etc)... I know they are only decals, but it would probably be easier to clean them, especially in that area of the car which gets really dirty....

IMO if your getting them painted body color why not get the "GT" painted on also? No emblem or vinyl to peel or fall off... Let me know how well they take the paint, as I might want to do the same with mine>>>

GT John, just curious, where did you buy your flaps from, Ford? I need a pair for the rear as it will keep the hot melted rubber off the quarters LOL.
I too will be painting them the same color as the car.
Also, I know there are probably more choices but want a pair that will fit snug and using any exsisting mounting points.
Thanks

Thanks for all the good advise guys.
You can get the molded guards from the ford dealer parts dept. They are installed using the existing screws that are already there.
Thanks again

Try the 'Mustang' cursive metal emblem, I Love mine. Check it out in the interior pic in my gallery... click on the camera in my avatar, it will take you to my pics. It's a little large but looks sweet! It's the OEM for the 1970 Mustang. So many choices, too little time. The GT would look good too, even the fender one!! Maybe paint the stripe a different color, be unique.
ORIGINAL: Redfire
If you find a smaller version of the front fender GT emblem, let me know. I still want one for the right corner of the dash. But it must be a real emblem, not a decal.

It's still a work in progress... The coral was a mod offered by webelectric.com (hope that is the right link). The fog light bezels came from SS Inserts, the Gold pony from ebay, the jury is still out on this one, not sure it will stay, the gold pony that is. I might put the chrome one back in. The lower strakes are just a little narrow wheel lip moulding cut to length (it's amazing what u can stick on a car with a little 3M tape LOL). othewise, the only thing I'm plannig is a headlight bucket paint mod, also Ebay. Send them yours, painted for $200 and they return them and u install. I Bought a pair of used headlights to see if I could seperate the lens from the bucket... I lost it tryng to seperate the freaking lens from the bucket using a multi-temp heat gun, It wasn't pretty. I'm not a patient person. It's better left to the professionals.
I'll post pics when they are installed.
