At the track? wheel hop with the stock suspension is probably more noticeable at the track with drag radials or slicks.

huh, I launch that bad boy at 3 and a half grand dump it and it revvs up to red line, bounces off the limiter about 7 times, nail seconds and rev limits once or twice, and the whole time the rear end is spinning slick as a baby's you know what, lol.

I agree with moosestang. At the track, thecar had horrible wheelhop (dropping the clutch at about 4 grand) that contributed to persistant 1.9 sixty foot times on 315 DRs.A wheelhop-reducing kit resolved that issue and knocked 3/10s off the sixty foot time.Need a whole lot more rear-end work done though(scheduled in January) before I can put on the MT slicks.

wow Im so happy for all of you without any of this nasty wheelhop I get all the time. Seriously, Just about everytime I try to get a respectable burnout going or even if I just launch the car a little to quick my rear wheels are hopping all over the place. My radar and sirius are bouncing all over the place...Im taking it in to have ford make sure everythings straight on the stang including any TSB's. I have the 17" alloys with sotck pzero's. Manual btw. Anyone have this prob. cured by taking it in to the dealer??

I have stock suspension and stock 17" rims with the Pirelli P-zero's and have wheel hop like a mother. I agree it is even worse in the rain. I'm not really complaining but it feels like my convertible top is going to rip in two and the car is going to shatter lol.
