First off, I thought I loved my Mustang...then I took it on a road trip last weekend. NOW I love my Mustang.

Anyway...I was driving down I-80 in the middle of Nowhere, Illinois when I see these two cars in a distance lined up on a frontage road as if they were getting ready to race. As I get closer, I notice one of the cars is a marked state police car and the other is a windveil blue 05 or 06 Mustang GT. At first, I was thinking that the guy had some fortitude, asking a cop to race. Then I saw that the dude in the 'Stang was wearing the beige ISP uniform with a badge, and saw the blue lights on the visor. I know they used the last model Mustangs and Camaros, but this was the first I'd seen of the latest generation being used as a pursuit vehicle.

Good information for those of us that go though that state every once in a while. Thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure that I drive the speed limit when going through IL. Maybe they let other Mustangs off with a warning first.

I havent seen an 05/06 Mustang cop out here on 80 yet, I travel it alot only live a few miles off of it. But I will be on the lookout thanks!
The town i work in is getting 5 Chargers for squads, I would expect to see more cities following.

Ya theres a few over here in the Orlando Florida area. I wonder how a cop becomes lucky enough to get one of those.

dont mind the awesome job on the writing, but me and my g/f's places pointed out on an old pic I had. Thats why I travel 80 so much, and sux because its all torn up between us.
