Default Hi wattage headlites for 06 Stangs

I just recently purchased some Heliolite H13 80/ 100 watt lights for my '06 GT. They will turn on for a short period of time, but then turn off after a few minutes. I have heard that there is a circuit breaker doing this. Has anyone else ran into this problem? If so, is there an easy fix?

I'd be worried about melting the plastic headlight assembly, regardless if you have a high current harness or not. My stock fog lamps melted the fog light mounting bases already.

I would have to also suggest the SilverStars. I would look at suppliers who sell the bulbs FOR MOTORCYCLES, and get the German versions that are NOT DOT approved. Much brighter and the same claimed wattage.

Pretty simple...

Your overloading the circuit by putting larger wattage bulbs than the system was designed for.

Either go to lower wat bulbs, or beef up your electrical system.

You can get that same kit on ebay for about half that price.
