ATTENTION!!!! Tail Light Harness Switch as of 1/01/06!!!
Just so you know as of January 1st, 2006 Ford has changed the tail light harness to a new design. So if you have a brandy new GT and you want sequantail lights, check with the company your ordering from and make sure they have the new harness available! Just so you know!

That picture reminds me of the many times I got caught on Need 4 Speed Most Wanted, was that setup or are you actually getting a ticket there?

I said this before(I work at ford plant, webuild explorers) Engineering changes happen all the time. One day you will be using a bolt the next it will be a screw. Enginers think of better ways to do things or more effient ways. Its just part of the buisness

I presume this is the harness you are talking about, as this is off my 01/06 built...
The pre-fabbed set from Webelectric, which uses an 05 harness, plugs right in. Unfortunately, he may run out of cores if 06ers keep buying them. lol
For anyone who is unsure which they have, you can see the middle bulb socket real easy looking down from the top with the trunk up. The earlier alterable socket is all black plastic, while the newer "tamper-proof" one is grey with the black epoxy on the back like shown above. It's clearly a moisture related fix since the water channel around the trunk drains right behind the lamp, onto the wiring harness.
