My mom bought a Mercury Milan with the 3.0, and I really like that car. First time I drove it, I thought it handled and felt like a lot smaller car than it really is and was kind of taken aback by the sporty handling of the car (compared to other mid-size sedans, at least). And I absolutely agree with what you said about the tranny -- you really don't even feel it -- unless you mash the pedal. Then the car downshifts better than about any other auto I've driven. One thing that kind of surprised me was that she told me she only gets about 15.5 mpg in regular mixed suburban drivng. Not that I would have expected much better, but that seems a bit low to me. How is your mileage on the Fusion?

The Fusion is about 24,000 for a SEL why would u pay 15,000 more for a 28,000 Mustang...the difference if any should have been maybe 5,000--or am i missing something.
