Default Borla Drone/06 GT vert

My father and I both have 06 GT's with Borla exhaust(his car is vert), I love the sound and have no problems with the sleight drone. Now my dad has says his drone is very bad at about 1900 rpms and wants to get rid of the sound immediatley. Will an x-pipe solve this problem? Will headers help or make it worse? Or any other methods of getting the drone down to a minimum?

Thanks, All comments greatly appreciated

nope, its the mufflers. the sound comming out of the two mufflers at the same time, same tone creates the drone, not the pipes before it. You can get the offset, though it will look bad, there will be no drone

Resonators welded on each pipe should subdue the drone to a more reasonable level or at the very least push it outside the normal operating rev range.

Another, more involved alternative...

doobs, I also enjoy the drone. It is my father who hates it because my mother won't drive with him anymore. He was at the point the other day that he was even going to put the stock back on before I talked some sense into him.
