RE: WHAT did you do to your car over the weekend.
Looks good Prof!!
==I was thinking of going with the glass roof but I don't know anyone that has one for our cars. CDC still hasn't released their version yet. Do you have any insight on one? I also need to check to see how much they cost. ==
I think the CDC version IS out, but they do not sell it to individuals. You have to go to an installer that sells their products and have it done. You might drop them a line and ask about it. I'm pretty sure the Saleen Glassback is in fact the CDC product.
As for what I did to mine this weekend, it's kind of a funny story. I decided to get my windows tinted. I looked in the phone book and found a place that was relatively close and they had a big ad in the phone book (BEST window tinting in the Metroplex!!) I took my car by and could not believe this place. It made Cooter's shop in the Dukes of Hazzard movie look like a friggin' palace. There was junk everywhere. In their "show room" there were boxes stacked against the walls and on every counter, debris all over the floor (a vacuum hadn't touched that place in many, many years) and the owner was a pot-bellied bald scuzz whose clothes were probably last washed in the late 70's. He was sitting in his "office" with stacks of CB radios all around and receipts scattered all over the floor and pinned to the walls. More boxes stacked everywhere. I took a look in the "shop", there was a kid who looked to be about 16 tinting the windows of an old, dirty banged up Mustang. He had big wrinkled up blobs of tint all over the hood and trunk of the car and was trying to get another piece smoothed out over the back window without much luck. The owner came out and informed me that this was the only car ahead of me, I was next!!!! My sneakers would have left skidmarks had their been any concrete (there wasn't, the whole place was dirt & gravel). I couldn't get out of there fast enough, and I felt like taking a shower afterwards (with a brillo pad). Anyway, I found another place that was spotless with employees that actually sounded intelligent, so the job did get done

I don't think I want to spend that much for one. I knew they would be expensive but not that expensive.

I installed my Navigation system. I bought the Pioneer AVIC-D2 system. I got an awesome price for it. I also bought a rear camera so when I hit reverse, I see everything in back of me.

I will post pics soon.

RE: WHAT did you do to your car over the weekend.
Dropped mine off at the shop on Friday to have the Cervinis side vents and a new roush chin spoiler put on (cause I'm always scrapping the heck out of it) and have my roush stripes finished from bumper to bumper. I never understood why roush ends their stripes early in the front AND back. I also am having my side striped done and am VERY excited to see them. I had the stripes made that were on the GT500 prototype and like they way they incorporate the new 'GT' logo. Pick up on wed. and then the motor comes out next monday. Getting a little tired of all the down time...
BTW PW - The engine bay looks great, about the ONLY thing I would suggest is to start collecting billet caps...[sm=icon_rock.gif]

Chevykiller.... "Those" are on my Birthday Wish List!
My neighbor has a sweet looking 03' Cobra.... he spent the weekend putting a new clutch into it because he burnt up the factory one at the strips...
My other neighbor was out grinding the paint off of his 53 Ford Pickup restoration / hot-rod project - boy THAT was NOISY!

I had a little time to work on my car this weekend.
I installed a UPR Radiater Cover, and Carbon Fiber "Mustang" plate.

My dad and I put my GT bumpers on my 6 this weekend. We took a lot of pictures and I posted up a tutorial/do's-and-dont's in the V6 section.
