Where to find the most 05+ Stangs on the road?

WOW..just got back from 10 days in beautiful Maui and I saw what seems to have been HUNDREDS of S197 convertible V6s. Just a few GTs. Everywhere I turned, there was another one.

It made me miss driving the Beast back at home....

Looks like the major rental car companies actually do rent cars that don't suck!!

Reminds me of when Hertz rented Shelby GT350R's. Rent it, take it the drag strip and turn it in the next day!

Just got Home from Vegas ... Saw only four 05/06 Mustangs on the road over there ... 2 six cylinder verts & 2 GT's ...

Late last year I was in Dallas, TX for a business trip and there were new Mustangs everywhere!

Didn't those old Mustangs have the "H" designation?
I'm sure there are V-6's for rent but has anyone seen GT's for rent at Hertz?

I was in El Paso Texas Last week and I rented a 06 Mustang V6, There were mustangs all over
I am in charleston SC this week and I have spoted several GT's and V6's and a couple of 05 Mustang GT Cop Cars
and a couple of Cop Cameros

I miss My stang, It's in the shop while I am away on business getting painted UD Pulleys, some body parts painted and a Dyno Tune

Seems like the warm weather states have the most. I was in AZ last month and spotted quite a few on the road, more V6's than GT's. Of course, if you searched dealer inventories you will find more allotments in warm weather states. Florida dealerships have a ton. You can also conclude that perhaps this is because owners in the colder states have theirs garaged for the winters, but overall I think based on dealer allocations you'll see more in warmer states. And I agree, many rental car companies have them (especially Hertz & Budget who feature mostly Ford products), again with more showing up in warmer climates.

Yep GT-350H...the ultimate rental car. Those must have been seriously fun!

Hertz rentals of the new mustangs - V6 coupe and convertible - on business got me intrigued on the V8 GT, which I just ordered. Damn good advertising for Ford.

That's how I got started...in '04 I saw a line of bright colored Mustang Convertibles at Budget Rent-A-Car at the Atlanta airport. My wife loved the orange one and when I got home I shopped around and found one. You're right, it's great PR for Ford, and I'm sure the rental market as exposure and a PR tool is not lost on auto makers.
