Default Custom Plenum Covers

OK, first of all I want to find out if Mid West Auto Gear is the only manufacturer making custom plenum covers for the GT. I saw a custom plenum cover that looked pretty close to what I was after so I did a quick mock up of it and want to know if anyone knows a place where I can have it custom made.

Dude I don't see you getting a better price for someone to custom make you a cover. MW has some bad *** air brushed ones as well as more conservative ones like what you want.

I'm just trying to cover all my bases in case they say they can't do it.

I got mine there at Midwest. They will custom paint the ribs black like you want. Just send them the photo with your e-mail inquiry.
I sent them a photoshopped picture and they got the stripes done right. I did have to add the 4.6 SOHC emblem myself later (try Mustang Tuning.com), but I wanted something different, like you probably do. Mine was $169 which included shipping. You might consider getting your in all Screaming Yellow (If that's your body color) with the black stripes and then adding the "powered by Ford" stickers later. I don't know if I can condone the "Cobra" though... ;-) You have a supercharger???

Nope, no supercharger. As you can tell from the list of mods, my car is being modified to look like a modern day version of the 1967 Shelby GT-350 and this would add the proper 'vintage Shelby' look to the engine compartment.

Oh and by the way, this was a mock up I did (very quickly) which started from a photo found on the Mid West web site. My car is actually Vista Blue.

just saw a 07 order guide over at themustangsource and it shows gt appearance pkg offers hoodscoop and engine cover w/pony- guessing its the original one from 2004 brochures (finally). I'm pretty certain the one pictured above with the powered by ford and pony was the same one ford had intended for the 05, but never included.

Highly doubtful it's aluminum. It will for sure fit the 4.6 though, it's listed as part of an option package for the '07 GT in the '07 ordering guide. It's also part of the C/S package.
