Holy crap...I guess that's what happens when you're doing 95 mph on a set of re-treads; [sm=alcoholic.gif]

Driver error im sure. Or speeding involved.

Again, another bad Mustang accident with only minor injuries, thats good news.

Retreads!

THAT was an 05 mustang... so it most likely had Factory tires.

I zoomed in on the car.. there isno side badging, so one can assume it is a V6... so doubtful they were "hot *******" it.

The V6's came with different tires then the GT..

I hope we don't start seeing V6 Mustang people dieing all of a sudden from tires comming appart on the highway! :O

Look like aftermarket wheels to me... maybe the place that set him up had something to do with it.

About 2 years ago I took my truck to the local garage for an inspection/oil change/brake work/rotation... idiots didn't tighten the lug nuts. I made it about half a mile down the road (doing 60) when the front right tire came off. Managed to keep it under control, but the shop was really lucky nobody got hurt. And then they had the nerve to give me attitude... it did not end well for them...

That really sucks, glad they are okay. Again very happy the stang protected them that well and only minor injuries occured. I feel bad for the stang too, poor car.

Prof, of all the people here I would think that YOU would know better then to say something like this. I'd say the sixxers are flogging their rides just as hard as GT owners, and as much as you've been over to the V6 forum you should know that! The sixxers have more then enough power to get someone in trouble if they don't treat it with respect. Especially if it's modded. This one at least has aftermarket wheels, there's no telling what might be (or "was" in this case) lurking under the hood.
