Cutting the bumper

RE: Cutting the bumper
i lthought id want a GT bumper but it looks pretty cool with the v6 bumper cause you can see the tops of the pipes. Hey i know its possible... they used a dremel on the bumper. but if your at ALL unsure why even do it yourself. they DO cut the bumpers at meineke though. although i didnt go there for my dual (wish i did NOW though)
its up to you. i wouldnt want it on my hands if i made a mistake... if they mess up you can pin repair costs on them. some of you DIY hotshots really dont know a good thing when you see it.

RE: Cutting the bumper
Nice effort on the conversion, afixer. Good job, I say! Which one is the original? The one on the right?
I don't want to hijack the thread here, but I'm just curious as to how the V6 sounds with Flowmasters/Borlas. And what's the approximate total cost of such a conversion (ballpark)? Anyone?

RE: Cutting the bumper
From what Ive heard....Flowmaster american thunders sound pretty good. Desperado331 has them on his V6. The mufflers are about $290, plus around 250 for a shop to fab pipes and install.

If you cut the bumper that's fine, like another person said use touchup paint. But if you want a new rear bumper you can try this link. http://www.speedconcepts.net/product...roducts_id=683
Good luck
