RE: ANYONE HAVE ONE OF THESE?
I already own a convertible, but the photos take me back to the days of the old "T-TOPS", a similar item was offered back in the seventies. They were "leakers" in the day, I would hope that this product would not do the same.
Looks sharp, I would be suspicious that it might affect the structural integrity of the car, UNLESS all MUSTANGS are built with the same chassis components as the convertible (to prevent the chassis from flexing).
I agree on the high price, but it's for our MUSTANGs.

I think it looks "ok". Something about it just didn't look quite right to me, not sure what it is. I'd also be very concerned about leaking. It looks like they did a very good job with the kit though. -Joe

Cant speak for the quality of the kit, but I do know the SN197 was built to be a coupe AND convertible, which is different from the old sytles, that had the convertible part figured out later. The convertible is only about 150 pounds more than the coupe so there may be very little difference in the structure. Slap some sub-frame connectors on there and your good to go.

The only concern I would have is you have to cut out the top of the pillar. That in itself would weaken the structureal integrity of the car. Besides, where do you keep the top when you are driving? It looks a little big to be putting it in your trunk. If you leave it at home, what do you do when it starts to rain?
