Default 05/06 Wheel Question and pictures requested please

Ok the wife and I have already decided on the wheels we are getting for the 06 Mustang but keep going back and forth between 18's and 20's. So what i would like is to see some pictures of 05/06's with 18's and 20's Also can you post what size wheel and tire combo you are running. Also for those of you with 20's please tell me how it rides. My main concern is the ride is going to be like crap running 20's and rubberband sized tires but the wife has her heart set on 20's and since it is her car essentially she may have final say. I am also considering lowering the car so please feel me in on that as far as issue with tires and such that i may run into. I know a good amount about the F150's but am new to the Mustangs and want to do it right.

Thanks,
Richard

Here a set of 20" Foose rims. Tires are Nitto 555 255/35/20 Tires and rim sit about flush. Personally I wanted a small lip on the tire to protect the rim but they look good. I wonder about a 275 ...... Normally driving-- rides about the same. I can tell I put rims on though.

Beautiful Car. Can you please give me the full details on the wheel size? Are you running the same sized wheel both front and back? Also the Same sized tire?

Richard

dude, 20s look nice but they are a harsh ride....I went with 18x10 and 18x9 rims and 285-40-18 and 245-45-18 tires....deep dish bullits....gives it an aggressive stance with the offset and I think looks like a true muscle car

Did you have to use spacers and if so, was there any issue with stering wheel vibration?

Ok, here you go. Foose 20's Nitrous, Nitto NT555 tires 255 front, 275 rear. Rides great, looks amazing. The only thing I have noticed is a little more road noise than the stock ones. This is an 06 GT with Roush Kit, C&L CAI with SCT tuner.

Richard: Here's a vote for the 18's that come from the factory. I'm partial on the retro look of the wheel Ford is using now. I love mine and wouldn't swap them for anything. Plus, you can lower the car with no worries. Just my .02.

BTW, the artsy pic of the close up on the wheel was done by my 4 year son. You never know what you're gonna get from a child. I love that pic as you can tell by my avatar.

95Tbird: The duck bill is a street scenes piece and the classic chin spoiler is from Classic design concepts (CDC). I would highly recommend the CDC product. Top line quality. I wanted the CDC duck bill, but I just couldn't live without the third brake light.

If I where to do it over again I would buy the duck bill from Cervini's. I have heard that they have good quality. The street scene piece needed a whole lot of prep. I don't know if I got a bad piece or what, but the installer cussed about it. [:@]
