2007 Options--if u can wait!--PICS NOW
Alloy Grey and Grabber Orange (formerly Valencia Orange or Valencia Yellow) are added to the color palette for 2007, and two new models are introduced: the GT/CS (California Special) and Shelby GT500.
The California Special (GT/CS) will be available with a GT/CS tape stripe, side scoops, and unique front and rear fascias with a chin spoiler that sites 1.5" lower than on the GT and a rear diffuser inspired by the Ford GT and Shelby GT500. Inside, the GT/CS will have heated two-tone black and dove (light grey) or black and chamois (light tan) leather seats and the rearview mirror will have an integrated compass and temperature and HomeLink, which allows the owner to open his or her garage door with a button on the mirror. An intake cover will dress up the engine bay. The GT/CS will be available nationwide as either a coupe or convertible, but will be available only in Redfire, Vista Blue, Performance White, and Black.
A new spoiler (see Orange V6 coupe below) will be available only on V6 Mustangs with Exterior Sport Appearance Package later in the model year.
Several new options are available for 2007:
Sirius Digital Satellite Radio
Driver Ornamentation Package - Fleet Only - Aluminum steering wheel and shifter trim, same as 2005-2006 Interior Sport Appearance Package
Comfort Group - Heated Seats, Homelink Rearview Mirror, 6-Way Power Passenger Seat
GT Appearance Package - Hood Scoop, Chrome Rolled Exhaust Tips, Intake Cover with Inset Pony
Heated Seats
Premium Trim Package - Soft-Touch Instrument Panel, Console, and Arm Rest Covers, and Aluminum Pedals
The biggest news for 2007 is that the Shelby GT500--unveiled at the 2006 Detroit Auto Show--will be available in Summer 2006 as a 2007 model as both a coupe and convertible. It will be powered by a supercharged 5.4L V8 rated at 475 horsepower mated to a 6-speed manual transmission.
The GT500's stripes come in four colors: Performance White, Vista Blue, Tungsten and Satin Silver.
GT500 exterior colors include Colorado Red (which can be paired with Performance White or Satin Silver stripes), Alloy Grey (Satin Silver or Tungsten stripes), Vista Blue (Performance White or Tungsten stripes), Performance White (available with Vista Blue or Tungsten stripes), Tungsten Grey (Satin Silver stripes), Grabber Orange (Tungsten stripes) and Ebony (Performance White or Tungsten stripes).

RE: 2007 Options--if u can wait!
Damn! [:@] I was hoping that they were going to drop Tungsten in favor of another grey. Tungsten stripes, I'm ok with, but my ride is Tungsten and it would've been nice to have the exclusivity of a one-year-only color. Those Mineral boys, they got lucky like that--not just a one-year-only color but the FIRST year of the new model. I favor Tungsten over Mineral as a personal preference, but I can certainly appreciate the added uniqueness.
Looks like there's some nice options on the horizon, but mostly "fun stuff" for the more affordable and available versions. I'm more excited about seeing an intermediate Mustang come out soon to bridge the GT/GT500 performance divide. Any pics of the new colors?
Best,
-j

That pic of the white GT/SC, is that the scoop that will be in the GT Appearance package? Thats a bit small for the hood in my opinion, especially compared to the 99-04 GT scoops and the hood size.

I cannot see just the CS model having heated seats, maybe you get as a package in the CS but an option in the reg GT model,be nice if you had leather seats and it's cold out.
