GG Allan,

Where in NE Ohio do you live? I live near Akron and am in the same situation. My DD is a Jeep Cherokee but I am thinking of selling it and trying my GT yaer round. Am I nuts? HEHEHEHEHE

ORIGINAL: GG Allan

No. Admittidly it was stupid to buy this car living in Northeast Ohio, but for probaly 8 months of the year I am happy as could be. Driving an old Sable won't be a comparsion. Love the manual transmission too. If I regret anything its getting the Shaker 500, because I'd like to have the subs from the 1000. Thats easily solved though.

The only remorse I had after buying my '98 GT was not buying it sooner. After driving four cylinder cars all my life, the burble of the V8 was music to my ears. Especially in a narrow alleyway or a drive-thru. And the acceleration? Night and day.

It got me pulled over five times in eighteen months, but it also almost got me a date with a pair of twins in Missouri once. But that's another story entirely...

The only thing that I regret is that the pony that I bought off the lot had a factory spoiler.

No remorse except for the lack of sleep worry if some idiot is going to rip her off or dent her with a car door. But she is so worth it all. Did not have to make even one compromise of all the options I wanted off the lot, except for having to wait for her to be shipped to me from another dealership. Just getting antsy about saving up for the stripes and a couple of other personaliations I want to do.

You can sell your extended warranty back to the dealer. Call the company and tell them you want to cancel it and they will mail you a refund....
REALLY!?! that was my main regret.

And then I regret not having finance taken care of b4 I got the car. I ended up getting shafted by ford's financing. I got a loan from the bank 2 days later and still had to pay a full month of interest to ford...
