Well, Will (2006MustangGTNYC) and I met again, in Long Island this time, to cruise around in our Mustangs. We decided to make a video of our two Borla exhaust systems, he's got the cat back while my car has the axle backs, that video can be seen here:

Thanks guys! That video should be archived on the site!
I personally preferred the sound of the Borla Cat Backs. They seemed to have a tone with more bass and less like the stock exhaust.
But what exactly IS the difference? Is the catalytic converter BEHIND the axle? Oh, and costs of the 2 exhausts?

That's exactly why we made the video, I was looking for a video just like this before I bought the axle back system, just a video where I could compare the axle back and cat back Borlas. The main difference between the two systems is that the axle backs is just replacing the two mufflers in the back, the cat back system replaces the mufflers and the pipes. The only other difference is that Will had resonators installed on his car to kind of tone down the sound a bit. The price for the axle backs is around $460 and the price for the cat backs is around $680-$750. By the way, it's pretty easy to install the axle backs, you should probably have someone help you get the mufflers centered though.
