I dunno... I saw a quick commercial for the CS when watching the Long beach Grand Prix and heard something that made me think I should look into it. I mean it's the first special designation for the S197. But i can't remember what it was... and those photos aren't too flattering! Since they replaced my engine making my GT a non-collector car I really want them to come out with a version that would be collectable. Like a limited edition GT350 with the 5.4 DOHC engine and upgraded suspension and appropriate badges!

I hate the spoiler and mid door stripe, the side scoops look generic,... the interior is pretty nice though.
Being a "California Special ", it won't smoke ever, even after 300,000 miles !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's about the only thing that "leftCoast wannabe BeachBoy Ride" is good for.

The only thing I like about it is the absence of GT fender emblems. ...funny, the only thing I like is something it "doesn't have" :-)

I guess since Ford went with a retro look for the Mustang, they are trying to retro California, when it was a great place to live.

It has some really nice features.... but the black spoiler on a white car makes me vomit,,,
Love the frond end, dont like the CS Emblem, WAAAAY too big...
