Default Blinkers are Bonkers!

Hey,

Today on the way home, I noticed that the right blinker "clicks" twice as fast as the left one. The indicator light is even flashing 2x the speed...What the Heck???

Any Ideas?

A tail light could be out
I have this problem more with my 65 but when a tail light is out the blinker blinks twice as fast. Also on the work truck were I work someone (not me) backed a dump truck into the f150 and broke the tail light, well ripped it off, and the blinker in the truck as blinked faster.

Yup, most likely means one of your lights is out. Put your blinker on and walk around the car.

I had the same issue after I installed my chase TLs and one of the wires got knocked loose. So if you have any aftermarket tail light kit you may also want to check the connections.

I'd say you have a light out or loose.

Speaking of blinkers, does anyone know if they make a quieter flasher for these things? Mine drives me crazy!!!

Thx,

Mike

The flasher is actually built into the cars computer, from what I read. I'd guess that means no, there is no way to make it quieter
