HAWGMAN,,,,does your pro 5.0 make any noise in 5th gear when your cruising, how hard is it to shift compared to the others, like steeda and hurst.
It makes probably about the same noise as the Steeda ( since it is a direct rip off of the Steeda ). I figure it is probably a little more noisey than the Hurst since all the Hurst is is a stock shifter with a short throw adaptor on it.

Shifting...all I can say is shifting ROCKS.

thanks for the good advice...especially since the damn thing didn't come with directions...
but i'm confused (maybe it'll be self explanatory once I look at it) but you said....

1-"unbolt the long brace that attaches to the tranny, have someone hold the shifter in place inside the car, and bolt the brace back up"=unbolt the stock brace then bolt it right back up? or does that mean attach the long brace first once you get the Pro5.0 in?

Remove these two bolts, which will remove the brace that bolts to the tranny. You get under the car with the two bolts, the brace, and the bolts you took out of the other shifter. Have someone sit in the car and hold the shifter in place in the hole in the tunnel. You put the brace back on the shifter. That way you don't have to drop the drive shaft.

And yes... I used your picture for the editing
