Default Flat spotted tires?

Hey guys. When my 06 GT sits for a while (overnight) the first mile I put on it the ride is bumpy feeling. Almost like the tires developed flat spots. Once I get up to speed it quickly goes away. Has anybody else experinced this? Keep in mind that I live in PA and have only had the car since January so it hasn't seen much warm weather yet.

My car sat for 5 months. I had flat spots, but they worked their way out in less than 10 miles. have never experienced it overnight.

I should mention, the car has 17" wheels with the stock Pirelli tires.

How low are you running your tire pressures? It may take a few miles for the tires to heat up and raise the tire pressure. It is a common problem on low profile tires when tire pressue is set on the low side.

If it doesn't go away, you might want to check the balance. There is a possibility that you have a bad belt in the tire. This has happened to me. It's from hard driving and sometimes just a defective tire. If this is the case, the tire would be replaced under warranty at a tire dealer that sells Pirellis. You have the warranty info in your folder with the manual.

Ive noticed this with my '05. I use it on the weekends, and its about a mile from my house to the highway. I notice the "thumps" for a little bit when getting up to road speed. Its the dam Pirellis.[:@]
