dcranford,

Your car looks great! I love how you've assembled a car with a consistent theme using parts from several different manufacturers. Personally, I think the fanblades are terrific (ordering mine tonight), but the silver of the wheels does look a little off with your white stripes and gold emblems.

I love the stock grille, but I admit that the center fogs would be a closer replica.

That's the cdc hood scoop? How does it attach? I've been setting my hopes on a functional hood, but yours really looks like one -- and I bet it was a lot cheaper...

Lookin' sharp!

Yes its the CDC hood scoop....It attaches with six screws that get put into the hood. CDC gives you a template to use, so its not that difficult if you dont mind drilling into your hood. I dont feel that comfortable so I had a custom shop to do it for me ;-) (chicken) The hood scoop cost me $289, and then another $100 for paint.

I also think the lights on the back of the scoop for the turn signals are a nice touch too

Yes, they are the CDC Hood Pin Appearance Kit.

However they look nice in my opinion and complete the retro look, as my stock hood doesnt need real pins.

Looks awesome. Would love to get our two cars together sometime for a few pics. Maybe we'll meet at a national car show at some point!

That would be sweet. But i'm not sure when I'll be in CO next.

You know when you'll be in Northern CA next?
