Default LT headers

ok ive got a question about LT headers, will they affect the handling abilites of the car at all? because you guys are always saying how it may have conflicts with the steering so i was wonderinig under hard road racing and autocrossing will that affect my handling ability at all?

LT's will not affect the handling of the car. You will have to remove the steering shat to put the left side set in and when you re-install the shaft, check for the proper clearance. You might have to replace the motor mounts with Steeda's or Prothane, But I think that depends on the make of the heafers. I hear that JBA LT's will clear everything without changing the mounts.

lol.... i ordered JBA's and then got the mounts to be safe... oh well, it'll help anyway i guess

I have been considering headers also. Can anyone confirm that the JBA's don't need new motor mounts?

Corpo,

With your JBA LT's and catted H-pipe (i'm assuming it is the JBA one)...how was the install. It looks like the catted H-pipe needs to be taken to an exhaust shop to have them weld it up (at least that is what I can tell from the pics), was this true for you? Also, how is the sound with them?

SLP's have no clearance issues either... except going over speedbumps [:@]
