It's about that time, need some help deciding
Alright guys, my dad took my car out to pick up someone in palm springs yesterday and guess what? my 10 day old car was hit with a garage door (scratching on the roof), and has paint damage because of all the dern particles in the desert air. I've been rolling around the idea of getting a new body kit since before I even picked up the car and I figure now is as good a time as any to make a decision and get everything painted all at once. I have a black '06 GT that's bone stock and I'm looking for perfect fit and finish. I appreciate everyone's input. Thanks in advance.

Dads...you can never trust them!
A girl at work also got a new Legend Lime GT and her dad did not pull her car into the garage far enough and the garage door came down on the rear bumper of her 3 day old car and left a nice big scratch! Recommendations on body kits is a very personal opinion, and you will get 10 different opinions on what looks good from 8 different people. The best thing is to keep an eye out for body parts you like the look of and make your decision on what YOU like. Don't forget, you can also mix/match parts from several different vendors to get a unique look. If you are looking for perfection on a black body, be prepared to pay... and select your body shop very carefully based on word of mouth. Ask to see some of their compled work and walk through their shop to get an idea of the kind of work they do. The cost of work at a good body shop is usually twice as expensive as you think it should be. Good luck in your quest.... Bill |
