What if anything, can the predator do to improve performance while I wait for my air intake? Thanks

Where did you buy your intake? Are you going to get "canned tunes"? I guess you could play around with the shift timing. But, if you are going to get you tuner with presets, I would wait till you get the intake installed and then install the preset tune before playing around with the other things like shifting and stuff like that.

Diablo used to have a "performance" tune on their web site that was for people with no bolt ons. No idea if they still do that or not. I know they have changed their website and downloads.

OK, I'll wait. I got the Predator from Steeda with their custom tunes. Thanks for the info.

If you had bought just a Predator from Diablo, they include canned tunes for common octanes of gas. Any other bolt-ons and you use the Predator to custom tune or download various canned tunes from their site. Or you buy it as a package deal that has the tune in it already for whatever you are bolting on. (Steeda intake in your case.)

I have the Preditor... could not be happier... awesome difference it made on my car.

IF your planing on taking it to a speed shop for precision tuning though, you need to find out what tuner they support - - usually either XCal or Preditor.
