[size=4][size=2]I just picked my 2006 GT after having the turning issue. It took 2-3 weeks in Houston to get this pack in but it DID fix the issues. Thanks goodness .. Too bad I did not have a new axle ratio ring and pinion ready to go. It would have been the same work for Ford under warranty !!!

Thanks for the TSB, this helped alot in convincing Ford very fast what the issue was once the service mgr and I took a ride after riding at hwy speeds for about 20 minutes. It whined like a baby but now seems OK. Will keep you updated..
thanks again.

Finally got my clutch pack. Dealer has installed it and it sounds good so far.

Well, boys and girls, my car started doing it with 3300 miles on it.
Aside from the noise, is there any compelling reason to ruin a day off by bringing my car to the dealer? If I just leave it, will it correct itself over time?

i only have 700 miles on my car, and i swear i'm starting to hear this noise. not only that, but occassionally it'll sound like the rear tires are kicking up pebbles into the wheel well when i'm not going over and rocks.

are there any stangs out there from 05-06 that DONT need this done? sounds like everyone needs it.

How about failure. I bought my son a new 08 GT power steering was going out. New pump was ordered but before it could come in it completely went out and caused an accident. I was told that it was no big deal that the car would be safe for him to drive while we waited for the pump. Now we have problems with the computer and other mechanical issues. Any advice.

im going through something similar with my 2010 mustang gt. only 11k miles and my steering wheel makes noise when i turn it after it heats up. they replaced the bushing and it did not fix it. i know a guy on here from alabama with same problem and he replaced rack and pinion steering and said it fixed it.
