New guy on the block with pics
Hi guys,[sm=hiya.gif]
I thought I would try and put some pics up of my new GT and a few of my audi S4 that I just sold last weekend . . . it will be sorely missed [sm=smiley19.gif]

RE: New guy on the block
Congratulations! I just got my 06 GT about a month ago. It is shweeeet. You will feel the pain of your Audi loss melt away soon enough as this new car steals your heart. I put a C&L CAI in mine last week and retuned with a SCT x-2 from brenspeed and it is even better. You should make that your first mod. Unless somebody else knows a better choice for 700-800 bucks. I am up for suggestions as to the next step. Probably gears or exhaust. What do you have planned? Of course its not like the car needs anything to make it great. Making it better is becoming addictive though LOL

nexusvox,
thanks for the compliments. Yes letting the Audi go was a bit of a tear jerker but I'm sure the new GT will win my heart, actually it already has and it has only been 10 days. I have been trying to abide to the break-in period and have about 550 miles on her so I have now started to get on it a little bit . Compared to the Audi, the mustang's 3rd gear doesn't have near the oomph. So I have been thinking about mods. I have read this board daily for weeks now and have learned many things as well as been concerned about things (like tunes loosing their potency after a short period of time, etc.) My planned mods are:
JLTII CAI and XCT2 tuner package from Brenspeed with the 87 octane being the primary tune (reason is the Audi sucked down premium and the GT sips regular so I would like to reap the monetary benefits of the cheaper gas).
SLP Loudmouth Axel back
o/r X-pipe not brand specific (SLP, UPR, Pypes, etc.)
FRPP 4:10 gears (dealer will install these)
Steeda UDP (dealer will install these)
17 x 9 wheels http://www.mustangtuning.com/verde-b...heel-17x9.html
wrapped in 255/50/17 rubber
EBC brake pads
Eibach sport system kit
Steeda anti-roll bars and strut tower braces
The CAI and tune will go on first and I would use the 93 octane tune for the road course events. My plan is to spend about a grand a year so my question to all you knowledgable people is what order should I go with the other upgrades. My plan for the car is to make it handle the road courses instead of the dragstrip. I want to the car to be faster but I learned with the Audi that power without control will put you in the grass instead of past your competition. Thanks guys for the positive feedback and I will get better pics up as soon as the weather cooperates.
