Default XM Radio Install Help

So I (Finally) got my XM SkiFi2 today.

I'm wondering about hardwiring it to the Skipper500.

What is the process involved in getting the Skipper out of the dash? (Other than the sledgehammer method, which I am currently considering.)

A little help guys? Just need some advice on how to remove the SKipper from the dash (as whell as the dash's plasic paneling around the skipper and up the sides of the column)

GG,
As I recall, the two plastic side column pieces pull straight back, toward the back seat. They just clip in. I had my entire console out, took these two pillar pieces off, and beyond that, 4 screws holding the skipper in place. that was it, as I recall....

Hope it helped a bit,
Mike

I just asked this a week or so ago and got some great replies, it was very easy:

The radio came out no problem, the PIE adaptor went in easy and my MyFi works and sounds GREAT!

I got both the PIE FRD04-AUX and the RCA Y-cable from the XMFanStore:

http://www.xmfanstore.com/showproduct.php?id=pieoem
http://www.xmfanstore.com/showproduct.php?id=pierca

Total with shipping was $108.81
