Lowering questions???

RE: Lowering questions???
drop a plumb bob line down from the center outside of the body edge of the wheelwell. Measure in to the flat face on the rim that the tire bead sits behind. Simply check both sides measuring the same way and see where rearend is sitting within the wheelwells (side to side). (plumb bob is cheap at any hardware store)

Ok cool, I currently have some of the supension lowering parts but think i may wait to install them all until i can buy the Tokico D-Specs. Why do the labor twice. By the way any opinions on the BMR Rear Lower Control arms?

RE: Lowering questions???
I haven't done rear lower control arms. ..still breaking in the car. I wonder if the Tokico D-Specs can even give the rear a better/smoother ride; I'm just wondering if they make much of a difference over just the ProKit as far as the rear is concerned. I swapped out for the rear ProKit the night I came home from the dealer (so I wouldn't be seen with the big gap over the rear wheels [lol]; so I don't have a comparison from OEM to ProKit rear. Ride isn't bad but I'm wondering if Tokico D-Specs would improve much on the rear in this case: they aren't cheap.

RE: Lowering questions???
I only did the front because of the way that the front tires were wearing and if you looked closely, you can see that the front wheels are cambered out just a bit. Not sure what the alignment is on the rear wheels but I haven't had any wear issues (other than spinning the tires) yet.

RE: Lowering questions???
I've softened up the setting both front and back on the Tokicos for daily driving and the ride is very comfortable. I am just a hair past the middle setting (a half turn more firm front vs rear) so I can go softer, but I like it the way it is. I ran at the track from 1 - 1.5 turns more firm than it is now and the difference was amazing.
