Sorry bout that and hope your paint is ok!
Just a little sidenote though that this thread made me think of. People do think these cars cost way more than they do! A couple of my friends had no idea about the cost of my car and one was under the impression that they were more than 45k!! I was like, uhhhh, no. So maybe it's just the amazing styling and look of these new mustangs but I do think that just because our cars look so good and and perform so well and sound so amazing that others are under the impression that they are way more expensive than they really are. That's a good thing I guess except for situations like yours!

I got egg'd in the driveway. So did a couple of neighbors who both also have "muscle cars" though not mustangs. There is a product called Total Prepp that is basically just mineral spirits but it will cut off sap, tar, bugs, and egg. And not hurt your paint.

I came out of a diner called The Full Moon tonight to find what I'm pretty sure was an egg (there was a little bit of white shell-like stuff and orange goo) on the roof of my car. Why would someone get so angry about a car that only costs 30k?! I mean I love this car but it's not exactly extravagent and over the top, why would someone get so angry when they saw it that they'd smash an egg on the hood? Esp. since it's an american made car, and a mustang at that...
It was really hard scrubbing it off and I don't know if I did it right, I just used windex/goo gone and some paper towels and idk if that was the best thing to do. I hope I didn't hurt the finish but I didn't want to let that stuff sit on my car overnight.
