killer,

what do you do inbetween runs?

im a noob at the drag strip and just wondered do you shut it down immediately after the run, throw ice on intake, let engine run for a bit after each run, i've heard so many differnet things, which is the right thing to do???

any help you can provide is as always greatly appreciated
I used to wait 20 minutes after every pass and put a bag of ice on the blower and another one on the aftercooler. Then I moved the battery to the trunk and got the icebox and can do 3 back to back passes before letting her cool down. It all depends on your set-up, if you're running hi psi with your s/c, you have got to let that baby cool to work effectively and keep your motor alive. N/A cars actually seem to work best a little hot so I wouldn't worry about ice or letting it cool down if you are n/a.
so you shut it down asap after your third run, you dont let it run for a period of time then.

and you must have not seen my recent post bro...n/a no more
