Default Not Loud Enough... Please Read/Help

My 2006 GT, has Borla C/B exhaust with a Hooker X-Pipe. Problem: It isn't LOUD enough for me, now I know if I eliminate my cats and go with the Hooker L/T headers i'll be set. I honestly wish it was that easy but my father will not let me eliminate my cats therefore I cannot finish my exhaust setup which I wanted to consister mainly Hooker's performance and sound and Borla's performance and sound. Would anybody recomment any high-flow cats, will this make a substantial difference or do I need to get downpipes since I can't get the L/T headers?

I think i'm going to secretly order the L/T headers, I am not sure if he knows they eliminate the cats or not. I really hope he doesn't, because I need that sound and boy will that help. Florida doesn't have emissions testing, but the fine would be outrageous if I got caught. Plus my dad would slit my wrists and say I was emo. JK , i'd be screwed though.

You should go with bassani high flow cats. (when it comes to time to smog check, switch out cats with stock for the test). That will definitely add to the sound of the x pipe and mufflers. Along with this, go with JBA long tube headers and you will definitely enjoy the sound alot more than you are right now if you want loud. Consider bassani mufflers as well (they are loud).

Why don't you go with LT's AND highflow cats? Any brand of highflows will do the trick, they all work the same. That way you won't be breaking your dads rule, since you'll still have cats.

Or pay a good welder to make a couple of straight pipes look like cats...

Tik_Tok, we've had our online battles but thanks for the help. Now if I put the high-flow cats when I get the Hooker L/T's will I need to do any cutting/welding? From what I know isn't the Hooker X-Pipe and L/T headers a combined exact fitment?

Thanks
