Eibach Pro-Kit or Steeda Sport Springs
Which lowering springs should I get?
Here's what I want: 1. lower the car between 1 - 1.5" (both do this) 2. work well without other major mods (i.e., no immediate need to add shocks/struts, panhard bar/brace. LCA's, sway bars, etc.) 3. provide some improvement in handling/reduction in body roll Most people here (at least among V6 owners) seem to prefer the Eibachs, but... Stangsuspension.com recommends Steeda Sports highest of all:http://www.stangsuspension.com/store/springarticle.asp This is what I was told by a Steeda rep: Use our sport springs 555-8215 lowers approx 1" The rear will be a tad lower so the car is flat. Are you going to buy springs from a company who makes springs for 300 or 400 different cars or from one that makes them for a couple of FORD cars and who uses the Ford engineering department for design work? Now it's up to you guys! Please post if you have any advice. Thanks, Tim |

I've never had Steeda springs, this is the first time I've used Eibach. I love 'em though.
