Default Tint Shop in Northern VA/DC area

So does anyone have a recommendation for a good tint shop around the northern VA or DC area? Hoping to get this done sometime next week if I can find a good shop. Mulling through consumer reviews is just tedious.

I just had mine done at a place in Woodbridge called The Tint Shoppe. I think they did a pretty good job but it's only been a week. They can also put felt in the window seal to keep the plastic from scratching the tint film. Also didn't need to leave it with them, it only took about 2 hours.

I am looking for a Clear Bra installer in NoVA; I have spoken to Randy at Detail Authority in Herndon (www.detailauthority.com) and he really seemed to know his stuff and his clear bra prices seemed "in line."

Im not sure if do tinting. But I am curious about any other local Clear Bra experiences. (I did the clear bra on my CTS-V myself; came out OK, but the compound curves on the mustang will have me paying a pro when the stang arrives (in $#%& June).

I've had all my stuuf done at LA Tint in Manassas. Talk to Archer there. He's always done really well for me.

You know it's kinda funny, the only two I've heard of from co-workers were also The Tint Shoppe and LA Tint. What a coincidence! Thanks, guess I'll look into the two of those a little bit more.

What kinda prices did Tint Shoppe/LA Tint charge? I got a quote from Ziebert that put it at around $280-290 for the windows + felt and that feels a little high.

Those prices sound about right. You get what you pay for. You may be able to get it done cheaper, but you'll be having it done again when it turns purple on you. Make sure they use a good quality film and guarantee the work. LA Tint does both, and that's why I use them. If it ever scratches, bubbles, or changes color, they will replace it free of charge.

If you're a member of the Northern Virginia Mustang Club, LA Tint is a sponsor and there may be a discount... haven't looked into that myself though, so can't say for sure.

It may be time for me to apply, too......is there a mustang aptitude test? All the answers are "Lee Iacocca," "Falcon," or "Fairmont." Oh yeah...."McQueen" is another possible answer.

Am I in?
