RE: JUST GOT MAGNAFLOWS & GOT DRONE, ANY FIX????
About the only source I saw for resonators was one of the forum sponsors, Verocious Motorsports. However, you can probably find other sources. The local muffler shop might have some, or surely can order some for you.
As for mufflers, a lot of the big muffler companies make small, tube-like mufflers. A glasspack would work of course, but most of them would be too long. You can also look at small mufflers made by any number of different companies. They are usually intended for race cars that are required to run a muffler to meet race regulations, but want a minimal impact on power. Check out: Dynatech Split-Flow, Borla XR-1 series, Dynomax Ultra-Flo, Flowmaster Outlaw bullets, and so on...
I used the Dynatech XR-1 bullets. They did work very well, but to be honest I wonder if they were worth the cost. They were not cheap! They are good becasue they have stainless packing rather than fiberglass (stainless lasts longer), but I wonder if the added price was really worth it. If I had to to it again, I'd probably use the stainless resonators from Verocious.
