check out the c&L package and read the claims. 12.8 1/4 at 105? with just this cai and custom tune? bone stock otherwise (and mufflers, but that's negligible) on street tires?

too good too be true? what do you guys think? can i be an LS1 KILLER with just a CAI?

I would say not likely. I can not recall reading about anybody going 12s with just an intake and tune. I have heard low 13.2ish with that setup but not 12s.

now this is stock terminator territory i believe. UDP's, CAI, tune, and axlebacks. a 12.6. either the 3v is the best engine on earth to tune or someone needs to raise the BS flag.

He is basically a pro driver. I don't think he is lying, but the average guy will not pull off times like he does.

Plus, if you bothered to read, they used E/T street tires, aka streetable drag tires.

I still don't believe it, even with a pro driver and tires ! There's alot of people on here with alot more more mod's that barely get into the 12's, with 4:10 gears ect.

Yes you are correct that is only possible with ET streets or a straight up slick and that is all we run. That was launching at 6K rpm pulling a 1.68 short time. Those times would not have been possible on factory rubber. That was over a year ago in cool spring air.
