They're improved connectors that run from the coil-on-plug down to the plug. If the stock Mustang connectors are like the ones on the 32 valve 4.6 then they're just coiled wire, almost like a long spring you'd find inside a ballpoint pen. The Granatelli coil on plug connectors are heavy, solid cables. I can't say if they're worth any measurable power, but my Marauder's engine definitely idles smoother since I put them in. I paid about $120 for my set.

Edit: here's a link to a picture of them on Granatelli's web page.

i just bought some from this place a few days ago.

The stock wires are really garbage. The improved coil packs are a great bolt-on though! Granatelli says 25 RWHP but
I have seen 19 RWHP on a blown car (on dyno) and 11 RWHP on N/A car. These are an easy add-on!
However they are not cheap as the Marauder COPs you previously bought. These are more like 650.00! (retail 850)
There is a guy on one of the forums that has posted dyno results also.

Ah, looking at that link it seems you replaced all the coil packs as well. That explains the cost. On my car I kept the stock coils and just replaced the connectors that run from the coils to the plug. Looks like just the connectors are $243.99 for the 3V 4.6. I'm assuming those gains you mention are with replacing the coils as well and not just the connectors. A little pricey, but looks like a good upgrade and easy to do.
