My understanding is, that if you reflash, back to the factory tune. Ford will be able to tell the system has been accessed, but not what was done.

Yeah really, the problem isn't that premium gas is 3.47/gallon, it's that f***ing REGULAR is $3.30! And I do seem to be getting slightly better mileage with this tune, so what the hell, so I figure I spend about an extra 7-8% on gas and I think with the tune I'm seeing about a 7-8% increase in power. Fair trade.

my combo is on the UPS truck and out for delivery as I type this...I can't wait! I'm going to start off with an 87 tune, then switch over to the 93 torque to see the difference. Easier for me to go that way than from 93 to 87 to see if it's worth the extra .30 a gallon - I'll probably just forget the plan and go with the 93 though! lol

RE: About to install a tune
I am stuck with a 91 tune. Living out here on the left coast the best we get at the pump is 92 octane. I have heard repeatedly that you should never run a 93 tune with 92 gas. too lean. So I run the 91 tune with the 92 gas. Washington State sucks like that...

I have the best of all worlds... 93 octane $2.89 gallon, smokes $2.50 a pack, Beer $21.00 a case... and you can still buy guns at WalMart What could be better, speed, smokes, alcohol, and guns! Not necessarily in that order!

Come to NYC sometime where cigarettes are $8.00 and gas is $3.55/gallon!
