What Have I Done?
So today I go to the Ford dealership to talk to them about ordering an 07 GT. I have been holding out for several months to get an 07. I was real curious about the Alloy metallic for my color choice. I started talking to the salesman about the 06's on the lot. The next thing I know, we are checking on other lots for what I want. He comes back to me with the print out of a white GT with all the options I want. I think to myself "Everyone knows white is the fastest color. This is performance white which must mean.....DAMN".
So the salesman tells me to give him an offer. I tell him I want it for a 1000.00 off sticker . He lumbers to the back to give them my bid. I expect him to come back 15 minutes later with a counter offer. Like they always do. At which point I'm going to tell them I'm not interest and we can move on to disscusions about the 07's. He comes back 1 minute later and says we have a deal. The first thing I think is "Crap, I should have said 1500.00 of sticker".
Needless to say, I have once again jumped the gun, and have gladly been delivered into this disfunctional family. I hope to have a lot of good conversations and heated disscusions with you all. Just like all good familys do.
All the paper work is finished. I will be picking her up tomorrow after 12:00. This means no sleep for me tonight.

Welcome, ya done good. it aint the 07, but, itll be in your driveway 2morrow. Beats the hell outta waitin', and ya got the deal ya asked for.

If that car had the options you wanted, you may have gotten a better deal than you think. I've heard stories from Ford Dealership guys about how their GTs fly off the lot for 2-3k OVER sticker...

You got a great deal; another couple hundred if you could have gotten that is no decision maker. I love "white"; you won't be complaining about swill marks for 10 years (lol); How about painted mirrors and light silver stripes. ...now we're turning some heads.
